Support to EHU Confirmed by Leaders at Baltic Development Forum

Support to the European Humanities University was confirmed in interviews at the Baltic Development Forum by Dan Davidson, Vice Chair of the EHU Governing Board, and by Halldór Ásgrímsson, Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
“The EHU has a fine tradition of instruction and learning in the area of liberal arts and freedom of speech,” says Dr. Davidson, on why the international community should support the university. “It is preparing a new generation for the 21st Century workforce - that is what the EHU is about.”
“The EHU is a unique effort to support the development of democracy and civil society in Belarus,” says Halldór Ásgrímsson, Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
